I am Dr. Neerav Kaushal, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Computing at Michigan Technological University, where I lead the Kaushal Lab for Molecular Intelligence and Drug Discovery (MIND). My research sits at the intersection of AI/ML, cheminformatics, structual biology, and materials science with a strong focus on developing novel AI methods for molecular property prediction, drug design, and explainable deep learning. In the MIND lab, we strive to push the boundaries of AI for scientific innovation, bridging data science with chemistry, biology, and physics. Beyond research, I am committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and building computational infrastructure to accelerate my research.
